Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes. Free profiles never expire and require no credit card. You can create your profile, list your stats, and be discoverable on the platform at no cost, forever.
Can I cancel my premium subscription anytime?
Absolutely. Cancel anytime from your account settings with no cancellation fee. You keep premium access until the end of your billing period.
How does the 10% transaction fee work?
The 10% fee only applies when a deal (transfer, hire, or coaching booking) is successfully confirmed by both parties. No deal, no fee. Subscription costs are separate and not deducted from deals.
Is my player data GDPR compliant?
Yes. All player data is handled under GDPR guidelines. Personal data is never sold to third parties. BallonDor Academy data sync operates under a strict data processing agreement.
What counts as a "verified" stat?
Verified stats are machine-pulled directly from BallonDor Academy SaaS and timestamp-signed. Only stats from integrated academy sessions carry the Verified badge — self-entered stats do not.
Can clubs contact players without a subscription?
Free club accounts can unlock up to 5 profiles per month and send limited messages. For unlimited access, scouting reports, and API integration, a paid scouting seat is required.
